Born into a family where music and art are a heritage, Simon Pietro Malandra developed an early and refined musical sensibility. Raised between radio studios, classical instruments and emerging music technologies, he built a solid foundation through conservatory training and advanced studies at the Academy of Teatro alla Scala, before specialising in electronic music and sound design.

His career took a decisive turn in 2012 with Conquest on Cocoon Recordings, followed by releases on Diynamic, Stil Vor Talent, Watergate and R&S. Supported by Solomun, his EP Sveva reached #1 on the Beatport Indie Dance chart for six months.

A sought-after international artist, Malandra Jr. has performed at major festivals and iconic venues worldwide, including Tomorrowland, Universo Paralello, SXM and Decibel Openair. His DJ sets combine elegance, intensity and emotional depth, delivering a powerful and immersive dancefloor experience.
